I am shocked and saddened by this news.  Although Deb and I hadn't been very close over the last few years, I always knew her as someone who easily offered her trust, love, and friendship.  Such qualities in a person, in a friend, are a rare find, and it is a loss to all of us when that person is gone.

I offer my prayers for peace to all those who knew and loved her.  I know that Deb dealt with many struggles during her life, but I pray that she was able to find peace before her passing.  I pray that she is at peace now.

RIP sweet friend of mine.  You have gone before us, way too soon. Will never forget your sweet smile and your devotion to those you and I mutually served. Prayers of peace and comfort for all your family and friends as we mourn your loss.

Deborah was a special person and extremely loyal friend who would always be there for those she loved through thick and thin; through more negative times as well as more positive.

We first met in 2011 through a mutual friend. I was surprised and thrilled when Deb reached out to me and unambiguously offered her friendship. Seven years saw us through a series of grand adventures. Who could forget trekking through the wilds of West Virginia before losing far too much at the Mountaineer Casino? Or random birthday explorations through Columbus? Or accompanying a new acquaintance back to his Pennsylvania home to recover some sort of Torchwood-themed van? Or romping through the one and only Grandpa's Cheese Barn? What about the renaissance faires -both of them?
Deb, your spirit, your intelligence, your openness, and your caring heart were and are gifts to this world. Thank you for your friendship and for all of the beautiful memories you helped others to make. I hope wherever you are, you continue to spread your unique brand of sunshine.

Deborah had a great smile and a lot of energy, she was a great friend to me and through our ups and downs she was a great friend of mine. Whenever I was down she was one friend I could call on to cheer me up, I miss her.
