I remember Debby as if it were yesterday that you lived down the block on Shelburne and we rode the bus together every day for yrs. to Mercer.  Her striking beauty, with the contrast between her whitest teeth and dark eyes/hair, and her amazing smile, will forever be emblazoned in my memory.  I actually looked up to her because, although she was only 4 yrs. older, she seemed so grown-up & mature, so smart, so together and of course, had such natural athletic ability. Though I hadn't seen her in person in the last 30+ yrs., I saw a photo of her, I think from her last reunion, and couldn't believe she looked almost exactly the same.  May you be comforted during this difficult time by the good memories that sustain us all. My thoughts are with you.

I do not say I exactly know how another feels, but from my own loss I have an idea of the bewilderment and emptiness you will be experiencing, especially when on your own.  Fortunately you will be feeling the support from Adam, Doug, Lee, Dee and others who have their own grief.  

Debbie lives on in your in your children and you will have this joy as their lives unfold.

I was truly saddened when I learned of Debby's passing. She and I went all through the Shaker Schools together, and knew each other pretty well. I knew she had some health issues, and continued to see her with that beautiful smile that lit up a room. She and I were both in the travel business at one time, and I will always remember conversations we had about the business. I will always remember her competitive sports spirit and willingness to cheer for those of us not as talented. She was a wonderful person. My heart goes out to to you. I feel lucky that I was able to have lunch with Debby and the girls two weeks ago when I was in Cleveland.  Jackie was kind enough to orchestrate it. We laughed and caught up,  talking about out parents, kids and husbands, trips we've taken and hope to take, golf and other passions, vacations homes and fellow Shaker classmates.  Debby shared some of her health history and her fantastic attitude in dealing with the curves life throws.  Debby had an irresistible smile that afternoon.  I am so sorry for your loss.

I have wonderful vivid memories of growing up with Debby, and playing and then hanging out at the Shelburne house. I am among the many who are lucky to call Debby a friend.  May you find comfort in knowing the positive impact Debby had on so many.

Words can not describe our shock and sadness at the passing of Debbie. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and close friends at this difficult time.

What a tragic situation. Debby and I were close when our children were young; we were in a playgroup for new moms at the JCC. Malorie and Adam used to play together; I remember when Douglas was born. My family moved east and we lost touch. This is a tremendous loss. Debby had such wonderful energy and a great sense of humor. My heart goes out to Howard and the family.
