Dora Shevtsova, age 91, a kind and caring math teacher, passed away last week. She was a beloved educator who was always ready to help and was greatly admired by her students and friends alike. Dora was also known for her exceptional cooking and her dedication as a caregiver to her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Valentina Ushakova; her son, Andrey Shevtsov; her former daughter-in-law, Galina Khalder; and her grandchildren, Pavel (Heather) Ushakov, Anna Ushakova, and Sergey (Nadya) Shevtsov. Dora was also blessed to be a great-grandmother to Aria, Shai, and Everly Ushakov, as well as Viktor, Alexandr, and Anastasia Shevtsov.
Her beloved husband, Gennady, predeceased her.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 24th, at 1:30 pm at the Berkowitz Kumin Bookatz Memorial Chapel, located at 1985 S. Taylor Road, Cleveland Heights. Inurnment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 26700 Aurora Road, Bedford Heights.
A private shiva will take place after the inurnment.
