Dorothy Green

Born Feb 7, 1923 to Alter and Minnie Greenberg, beloved wife to the late Bernard Green, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend and neighbor, Dorothy Green died peacefully in her sleep in Beachwood, OH the morning of January 22, 2020. She is predeceased by siblings Morris Greenberg and Sylvia Greenberg, as well as her daughter Sharon Green Lazear.

Always ready to help anyone in her life, Dorothy was an avid exerciser, keeping up with people half her age. She worked for the Green Ball Bearing Company for many years and was a long-time congregant of Park Synagogue.

She is survived by her children Evelyn Green Carr (Bruce) and David Green (Robin); grandchildren Miriam Halimi, Jacob Lazear, Aaron Lazear (Nechama), Andrea Boyer (Austin) and Corey Green; and great-grandchildren Sarah Lazear and Dina Lazear.

A service will be held at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel 1985 South Taylor Road, Cleveland Heights, OH, at 1:00 P.M. Interment Bet Olam Cemetery. Shiva will be held at Menorah Park 27100 Cedar Road, Beachwood, OH, at 4:00 pm .
