Dr. Arthur Kramer, 88, son of the late Morris and Bessie Kramer and brother of the late Paul Kramer and Loretta Kramer Cohen, was born on January 1, 1927 and died peacefully on March 2, 2015 in Pittsburgh, PA. Art graduated from John Adams High School in 1945 and then served 2 years in the United States Army. He earned a BA in Chemistry from Western Reserve University and also earned a MS and PhD in Metallurgy from Case Institute of Technology. He spent most of his career in a variety of senior research positions at Lincoln Electric Co. Art is survived by 4 sons: Dr. Mark (Tobie) Kramer of Martinsville, NJ., Dr. Richard (Robin) Kramer of Israel, Jacob Kramer and David Kramer of Solon, OH and one daughter Deborah (Tom) Kramer Callan of Mount Lebanon, PA. Art is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Services will be held Friday, March 6 at 1 PM at the BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL 1985 S. Taylor Rd. Cleveland Heights, OH. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery.
