I want to express my condolences to the family of Dr. Mark Melamud. I worked with Dr. Melamud during my tenure as Critical Care Nurse at Mt. Sinai Hospital here in Cleveland. I found him to be a compassionate and caring doctor. He was truly a brilliant , and always a joy to work with. My thoughts and prayers goes out  to the family. 

I want to send my condolences to Dr. Melamud's family.  He was a wonderful, compassionate doctor who helped me with my GI issues and listened so well to my concerns.  He will be greatly missed.

I want to express my condolences to the family during this difficult time. Dr. Melamud was a wonderful colleague, mentor and a true asset in the medical industry. He will be missed.

My thoughts, prayers and condolences are with the family of Dr. Mark Melamud. He was such a great man. He was a knowledgeable physician who truly cared about his patients. I am thankful for all of the time that we were able to spend together at work and all of the amazing stories that you told us. Until we meet again, friend.

On behalf of the family of Steven Bruss, one of Dr Melamud's Chron's patients, we extend our deepest, most heartfelt sympathy. Dr Melamud made a difference in all of our lives when he diagnosed Steven with Chron's in 1999 at the age of 18. He has provided treatment and support and advice to him for almost 20 years. We, Steven's family, are so grateful to Dr Melamud for always being there for our son & brother and to his family for sharing him with his patients all these years.

My condolences  to  the  family  of  Dr. Mark Melamud, he was truly a caring  man  and i'm so grateful too have had the privilege  of  him being my physican since 2009 until I last saw him September4th 2017 in his office. I was a at home hospice, palliative medicine patients since that time. He will be forever loved and missed by my son and I, he was truly a Great and compassionate  physician  He will never be replaced or forgotten thank you Dr. Melamud

I worked with Mark at Mt. Sinai and found him to always be kind and caring to all he came in contact with. A lovely person. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to here that dr melamud has passed away. I worked with him many years. He was the best of the best!  As a professional, I have never worked with anyone as I did him.  I thoroughly enjoyed knowing and working along side of him. Heartfelt sympathy to Lucy and family.  

I knew Dr. Melamud as my best friend's father. I have nothing but the warmest memories of his kindness, humor, and intelligence.  I feel grateful to have known him. He will be missed.

I will miss,Dr.Melamud as my doctor, he always greeted you with a smile, it's as though he new just a smile and a good sense of humor, would take the edge off a office visit or a appointment at the hospital with him and his staff. May he always  be remembered by the light of this candle.

I have so many memories from working with Dr. Melamud at Southpointe endoscopy.    He loved to teach, and I learned so much from him as well as favorite places to dine with his wife Lucy.  He also had a wonderful sense of humor.   Thank you Dr. Melamud.  You will be missed.  Virginia Whetstone RN

Dr. Melamud will truly be missed by my entire family since we all (husband, mother and father) went to him.

Dr Melamud was exceptional and very compassionate. As one of his patients I will truly miss him. May God wrap "His" arms around the family and give them peace and comfort during their time of sorrow.
