Jim Killin

We are so very saddened by the news of Torchy's passing.

He was a good friend & roommate through our days at Kent.

Please accept our deepest sympathy to you & your family.

Torchy was the life of the party. I am pretty sure he will be organizing things in heaven as he did here on earth. Those that are with him now will benefit from his sense of humor, his intellect, and just his loving friendship. Our class will miss him, I will miss him, and my heart goes out to his family. I hope that all the wonderful memories you have will sustain you through this difficult time. It is said that we should be grateful for the love that we had for someone because even though they pass away, the love remains.

My condolences to the family and friends. Hearing Torchy passed was so unreal. He was always funny, laughing, enjoying. Good memories. Thank you, Torchy, for keeping us connected. Rest in peace. You will be missed.

I am so shocked at the passing of Torchy.
.I met his Son Matt last week when I picked Torchy up to play golf. He helped me improve my game as he gave me great advice. Both Torchy and Peggy did a great job raising Matt as he is a wonderful man who is as welcoming as his Mom and Dad.
Torchy and I got together often this month and even though he was struggling he had a great sense of humour and told a lot of great stories. Torchy had a wonderful plethora of friends. He will truly me missed. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I was blessed to have known him for so many years. Hugs to his family for their loss.

An amazing personality, liked by all, not a bad bone in his body. Like all his classmates have said, he was the glue for us from 1965 ! Jim Weingart

This is a sad time for members of Shaker High Class of 1965. Torchy was our unifying force, running our class website, keeping us informed of what all of us were up to, passing on good news with humor and joy, sad news with compassion.

Personally, Torchy and I were friends since 7th grade, and became even closer in the many decades that followed. He remained especially close to his Lomond elementary school friends, and I send that gang my sympathy.

Torchy loved his family deeply, and Peggy, Halley, Matt and the grandkids will have him in their hearts forever. And so will all of us who had the the absolute pleasure of being Torchy's friends.

I am so sorry to hear about Torchys passing.
He was very kind to Bob(Reeves) and for that I will be eternally grateful .

May his memory be a blessing to his family.

On Behalf Of The Shaker Heights High Class Of 1967 DEEP Condolences To Peggy, Halley Ann & Matthew On Torchy's Passing.
He Has Left A Lasting Memory To SO Many During His Lifetime.

I am so saddened to hear of Torchy’s passing. He was my friend. We spent time together in Tucson and when we visited Cleveland. We knew all the same people and he could tell you stories about everyone.
He was kind enough to do interviews which he uploaded to U-Tube for the Shaker Heights class of 1967 50th reunion to make it even more special. There were so many special memories Torchy is part of and I will never forget his willingness to be there and help whenever I asked.
I will miss him, his smile, his stories and friendship. May his memory be for a blessing for those who loved him. My sincerest condolences to the family.
Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed.

I have known Torchy since I was in elementary school and have, without a doubt, the fondest memories of him. He was one of the cool kids, i always looked up to him. He was a joy to be around, kind, sweet and very funny. I enjoyed his shows and his frequent facebook posts with the delight that only a talented person can make you feel. He was very special and I will, as well as many others, miss him.
May his memory be a blessing.

My dear friend from kindergarten and beyond it certainly was a roller-coaster ride rhe good with the bad and mischief that we spread.Fond memories ! That will always be cherished Rest in Peace !! I know you are going to be mischievous.
