

At age 10, her family immigrated to Israel. She later wrote From Darkness to Light, an account of her journey from Poland through Europe to Israel.
Erella became a nurse and later a psychologist. She loved classical music, especially the Cleveland Orchestra, and delighted in welcoming friends and family to her beautiful, well-kept home.
A devoted advocate of good nutrition and wellness, she was an exceptional cook who loved preparing meals for others, taking great joy in hosting family and friends and always welcoming others into her home and bringing people together.
She will be dearly missed by her children, Anne (Todd) Peterson and Kelly (Todd) Adelman; her grandchildren, Alexandra and Adam Milewich (fiancée Julie Cox), Chad and Reid Adelman; her late partner Alvin Kayloe’s children, David Kayloe, Jordan Kayloe and Rachel Marotta; and her brother, Benjamin Alspector.
She was predeceased by her husband, Meir Gross; her partner of 30 years, Alvin Kayloe; and her sister, Sara Katz.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, October 11th, at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 27855 Aurora Road, Solon.
Shiva will be held at the Adelman home on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Monday from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
