Dear Edie, Irving and Toby. I visited Fanny the day she died , October 5 at about 2:00. I just heard yesterday from Toby that she died later that night. I am so terribly sorry I missed the services. I did not check the paper that day! I really loved Fanny she was a very special and most amazing person. Katie Holzheimer

My deepest sympathy and prayers for you! I love this photo of Fanny, that is how I remember her! I remember being over one day and Fanny was frying some beef bacon (which I had never had before in my entire life) and we sat and ate those sandwiches with mayo on them. I LOVED that bacon and have thought of that specific day SO many times; along with the way she would say my name that always sounded like 'kettle' instead of Carole! Good memories of time spent at your house! Blessings and may Fanny R.I.P. with Bill. Much Love, Carole
