
Felix S. Nacht of Russell Township, Ohio, died Dec. 23, 2013. He was 80. Born on Jan. 21, 1933 in Berlin, Felix and his family left Germany in 1938 for Shanghi, China. After the war, the family lived in the Dominican Republic and then San Francisco before moving to Cleveland in 1948. Felix graduated from Collinwood High School. Felix worked as a bookbinder, and also owned apartments. He was a member of Park Synagogue and the Forest City Hebrew Benevolent Association. Felix was also an avid stamp collector and belonged to the Euclid Stamp Club. Felix is survived by his son James Nacht of Baltimore, daughter Martha (Jack) Spaner of Russell Township, grandchildren Stephen Spaner and Meaghan Spaner, and brothers Edward Nacht of Cleveland, and Steve Nacht of Las Vegas. He was predeceased by his parents Max and Elfriede Nacht, and his wife of 43 years, Joyce. Services will be held Thursday, December 26th at 10 a.m. at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 S. Taylor Rd. Cleveland Hts. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the graveside service at the residence, 8330 Kinsman Rd., Russell Township, Ohio 44072 until 7 p.m., Friday 11 am-3 p.m., Sunday 2-4 and 6:30-8 p.m., Mon. & Tues 2-4 and 6:30-8 p.m. Minyon at 4 pm. Contributions are suggested to the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage.
