FLORENCE SCHILLER (nee Mazorow), age 84, died December 13, 2015. Beloved wife of Ernst Schiller (deceased); dear sister of Henry (Gerry, deceased) Mazorow, Herbert (Carmen) Mazorow of San Juan Capistrano, CA and Irma (Michael, deceased) Kahn. Those who know Florence knew her to be a private person, yet not to be confused with shy. Florence could be firm and hold her ideals and opinions steady when she needed to make her views known. Florence's ideals took her to Israel where she lived from 1964 until she returned to Ohio in 1980. In 1969 she met a gentleman named Ernst Schiller. Although he was somewhat older, she had found her match and they wed in 1973 and continued to live in Israel. Florence traveled a couple of times to visit family in friends in the states, never staying long. The couple lived in Israel until 1980 when they returned to live in the United States. Ernst and Florence were together until his passing in 2008. Florence had two other passions in her life. She bred, trained and showed miniature schnauzers while she lived in Israel. Her schnauzers placed highly in shows, winning many trophies. Gardening was another of Florence's passions. She eagerly awaited spring each year to begin her plantings, bringing beauty from the earth and warmth that lasted all summer into the fall. Winter was never one of her favorite seasons. Private funeral services to be held with burial in Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family requests NO VISITATION. Arrangements through BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL (800) 448-2210
