I was sorry to have just heard this sad news.  My late parents were friends with the Buchwalds for decades.  When my wife and I first moved to Cleveland, Frank and Jeanette were steadying influences for a young newly married couple.  Frank and Jeanette were generous with their time and very helpful to us.  We were fortunate to have some wonderful home cooked meals courtesy of the Buchwalds.  Frank told great stories and had a terrific laugh.

We just heard about Frank’s death.  We’ll remember his sense of humor and his playfulness with the Israeli kids we worked with in Beit She’an.  His was a life well-lived.

I had the pleasure of working with Frank for several years in the Mentor,Oh operations of Caterpillar Lift Trucks. Always upbeat and very professional. He touched us all and will be greatly missed.

I cannot believe I'll never get another hug from my dance pal Frank, or make him laugh, or watch him happily watch the rest of us bounce his beloved Jeanette around in a samba or a lindy or any of the dances. Your, our, USA Dance Family in Painesville and Rocky River will miss you terrifically, Frank. But rest easy, buddy, I'm already starting my plotting to figure out  how we're gonna keep Jeanette dancing with us for as long as we can. Every dance I'll ever have with her forever, we'll both be having happy tears because we know you'll be watching. i loved my Uncle Frank and was shocked and very sad to hear of his passing. I spoke with Frank not too long when he called to say hi and just touch base as his often did to just stay in touch.  He was such a sweet man who always had a kind word and always a joke or two.  I will miss him always. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Ben and I are heartbroken to hear that Frank has passed so suddenly. He is most surely waltzing in heaven!  Our deepest condolence to dearest Jeanette. We only ever saw them together in dances for well over a decade. 

The last time we saw you both was at La Danse last March 16th, full of smiles,  dancing the night away! And now I am so grateful to have had the privilege of doing a slow foxtrot with Frank that night. He was very gracious, as always, a gentleman through and through. After our dance, he held out his arm and walked me to my seat. He smiled at me with his eyes and gave me a great big hug. I wish I knew it would be our last dance. I would have returned for more.

I loved Frank. I only knew him for a short time, but I knew that he was special. 
What a happy, smiling, wonderful soul. I wish I had known him all of my life. His passing really hit me. I feel that I missed out on knowing him longer. I guess I'll just have to wait until heaven to re-connect with him. For now, I pray that his wife will overcome grief and find peace in knowing that they will be reunited someday. 🤎

Frank was my mother's first cousin. When my wife and I moved to the NE Ohio area in the early 90's. The Buchwalds were so kind to us. Either Frank and Jeanette or Mia and Joe would have us up for Pesach or Sukkot each year until we moved away in 2008.  Frank was so warm and helpful to us, always. May his memory be for a blessing, I will always hold him dear to me.
