Gail is predeceased by her brother, Eugene Ross and sister, Marlene Sills. Gail graduated from Cleveland Heights High Scholl and earned her Undergraduate and Master Degrees from Cleveland State University. Throughout her life, Gail was an avid swimmer and enjoyed reading, writing, the arts and spending time with her family. Gail is survived by her children, Laurence Powers (Liz) & Randi Waxman (Daniel), six grandchildren, Cassidy Powers (David), Olivia Powers (Diego), Maxwell Powers, Jonathan Waxman, Nathan Waxman and Jesse Waxman (Emily), and two great-grandchildren, Jackson Malkus and Colby Malkus.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at 11:00am, at Lakeview Cemetery Cleveland Heights, Ohio, section 63, lot 68, grave 1. Please use the Mayfield Rd.-Kenilworth Rd. entrance.
