Gloria was born in Cleveland in 1929, and she graduated from Cleveland Heights High School and met her husband Irving while working at Halle Brothers together. They were married in 1951 and lived in Paris for a year and a half while Irving was serving in the army.
They raised their family in Beachwood. Gloria was a strong woman who lived her life the way she wanted. She cared deeply about her family and the community. You could always find Gloria helping someone as she volunteered at many different organizations, including the True Sisters, The Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Saint Augustine’s Church, Fairmount Temple, where she served as President of the Sisterhood, and Montefiore where she ran the gift shop for 20 years. Gloria was a member of many philanthropic organizations and supported so many of them.
Gloria loved traveling with her family and enjoyed going to the theater, especially at Playhouse Square. You could also find her shopping for antiques or finding bargains at household sales with all her friends.
Gloria had a great attitude and never thought she would have such a long, wonderful life. She enjoyed it all, didn't worry and shared so much with the people around her.
She was predeceased by her husband, Irving (z”l) and will be dearly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Larrie Nadler and her son, Randy Fine along with her grandchildren Barry (Carolyn) Nadler and Lindsey (Darcye) Houska and great-grandchildren, Peyton and Nolan Nadler.
