I am not sure why my original message to you all doesn't show.   But I do want to again express my sincere my condolences to you all.   My family were one of his earliest patients when he took over my late uncles practice.  From day one we all loved and adored him.  Our care from Harvey was excellent.  Harvey stayed in touch with my mother right to the end of her life. He always found time to have lunch with her when she was up to it.   The world was a brighter place with him in it.

Dr Rosenbaum always made me feel so welcome in his home. His sense of humor and love of people helped me be a better person.  He was a mensch in every sense of the word.  My favorite memories were of breaking the fast at his home.  And talking Cleveland sports, especially the Browns.

Susie and I send you our sincere support and sympathy at this terrible time. What a tragedy. Harvey was always a vibrant personality and clearly continued to be so until the very end. He was always inquisitive, cheerful, energetic, and always with a sense of humor. He was fun to be with. I last saw Harvey about 4 years ago when we struggled around Airport Greens discussing how we could both become better golfers. I am sure his golf improved much more than mine as he was so much more involved with his multiple league interactions. Susie and I were patients for all the years that we were at St Luke’s Hospital. He was practical, thorough, well informed, and had good judgment. He was always cheerful and kind. I was a Patient Access Rep at the Solon Family Health Center and worked in internal medicine with Dr. Rosenbaum. We was a wonderful  and caring physician, and was always kind to the staff. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, and those who loved him.

I express my deepest condolences to the Rosenbaum family. While I haven’t lived in Cleveland for some time, growing up our families would spend some holidays together, and I remember in particular Harvey’s sharp wit and sense of humor. One instance in particular comes to mind. In advance of a Cleveland Browns season, I asked him how he thought they would do. He responded, ‘I don’t talk about football unless I am paid,” echoing a similar response I got from then-Browns coach Sam Rutigliano, when I asked him the same question at a Cleveland Browns training camp earlier that year.

Harvey was the world's best doctor- so caring and concerned. I loved him dearly and would have done anything for him. He was so devoted to you Roz even though you had a better golf swing than him. Harvey would spend inordinate amounts of time with his patients and it was always appreciated.  I am shocked and bewildered at this awful tragedy.

My heartfelt sympathy to Roz and the  family.  It was a shock to hear this.
Dr. Rosenbaum had been my primary care physician since I met him in 1968 (my husband was in Vietnam) until his retirement.    Wherever he was -  is where I went for treatment.  He was  kind, thorough and compassionate.  We always laughed that I was his oldest patient and another Rosalie in his life.    There is a hole in the world without him.   We will all miss his spirit.

We new him at a distance when he first came to our cousin Jack Berman’s medical practice What a team of high energy doctors. 
We got to know you and Harvey the day he shut the door on his practice and set out on a retirement which was filled with activities from dawn to dusk and then some.

Harvey filled each moment with reading, listening, seeing, traveling and experiencing . There was bridge, golf, Senior Scholars. City Club and more.
And we got to hear about it because he was willing to share his photographic memory.

We’ LLC miss our bridge with you both and I’ll miss him at the Monday bridge he started and mentored.

Dr. Rosenbaum was my doctor for 42 years; I was lucky to become his patient when he was beginning his practice. He was a wonderful physician who went above and beyond. After a tour of your then new house, I told Hulya, this is exactly the type of person I always wished to have as a neighbor. At that moment, Harvey had created our neighborhood.

Dear Roz and the Rosenbaum family. This loss is such a tragedy. We grieve for all of you.

Sharing a memory of Harvey's comments made to me at my sister's 80th birthday may give added insight of his philosophy of life as he was 82 at the time.  He told me living life to its fullest by loving and caring for his family, friends, and associates each day was his formula for living a good life.

Reading through the countless heartfelt condolences, affirms he lived that life.

Harvey was dearly loved by his family and friends and meant so much to so many.

I have so many wonderful memories of Harvey, but the most significant one is of his warmth during my husbands illness. He was a constant visitor at hospice giving comfort not just to Jeff but to me as well. Our get togethers somewhere halfway between Cleveland and DC were so special.  He will be missed.

I first met Harvey when I was a resident at St Lukes in 1980.  Not long after, I knew him as a professional colleague when I started working in the ER at there.  After several years, it was a pleasure to reconnect with him through Senior Scholars.
It was wonderful to know such a great physician and then as a friend these last 7 years.  
My thoughts are with his family and friends; he will be missed by so many.

I met Harvey about 20 yrs ago when he came to visit Janice and Albert in Charlotte.   I remember the first time I met him he was so excited to be visiting his family.   Loved meeting and engaging his children’s friends as if they were his own family.   He had a quit wit and put everyone immediately at ease.   Over the years many visits and always the excitement to be with his family.  But the memory I will always cherish the most is Harvey attending his grandsons sports.  Whether it was flag football or tennis he just lit up at the magic of seeing his “boys” on the field.   Everyone could see how proud he was as his face beamed that big smile.  When Nathan and Evan talked about Harvey it was evident he was a fixture in their lives.    He loved Janice and Albert and always was excited to visit Charlotte with Roz.    Everything and everyone he befriended made him happy.   When there was a medical question he offered his opinion in the most humble way.  It was evident he was the patriarch but also the gentlest soul.  Friendly and engaging it was always exciting to see him, listen to his stories and see how happy he was in the company of those he loved the most-his family.   He was a beautiful man and touched so many lives.  

I am so very sad to hear this news about Harvey. He was a wonderful friend and colleague to my father. A wonderful physician and friend to me and my mother. An important person in the life of my entire family. What a terrible loss. My heart and love go to Roz and all of the Rosenbaums.

It was my honor to first know Harvey as fellow physician who epitomized what a medical practitioner could and should be. His dedication to his patients and to his profession was exemplary.  

As a friend, Harvey brought warmth to every interaction. He found the good in everyone, and everything.  Devoted to his family, his friends and his associates, he will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

This is such sad news.  Harvey was my dad's partner for more years than I can count and our family knew him well and were grateful for his contributions to the medical practice both intellectually and emotionally.  Harvey was one of the smartest and most astute clinicians I have ever known.  One measure of the respect my dad had for Harvey was-- he let him take care of my mom!  Enough said!
