Henry Gene Schneps

Henry Gene Schneps, Dec. 6, 1946-Nov.29, 2017. Beloved husband of Suzanne Abt Schneps. Devoted father of Jenny (Marc) Walinsky and Elizabeth Senor. Loving grandfather of Bailey, Owen and Lilly. Dear brother of Karen (Sandford) Evenchik. Treasured brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Son of the late Sarah and Simon Schneps. Henry was born in Brooklyn, NY, where he was on the track team and followed the sports of the city. He received his B.S. from the University of Michigan and his M.S.E.E. from the University of Pennsylvania. His heart, however, was always in Ann Arbor and he loved, "Go Blue." Henry began his professional career in computer science and was one of the first to be degreed and work in the field. He computerized Mor-Flo Industries, a Fortune 2nd 500 Company. Later he owned and operated Custom Graphics, a printing company. In the last years, he founded Better Business Brokers and sold privately owned businesses and commercial real estate. Each career path was complemented as president of a related organization. He was president of Hewlett Packard Computer Group, the State of Ohio Printers Association, and the Business Brokers Association. He served on the Temple Emanu El Board of Trustees and on the Beachwood Democratic Committee. Most important to Henry were not his accomplishments but his family and friends. He treasured every one of them. Services will be held Friday, December 1 at 2 PM at TEMPLE EMANU EL, 4545 Brainard Rd., Orange, OH. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the residence 3284 Havel Drive, Beachwood, OH FRIDAY FOLLOWING SERVICES AND INTERMENT UNTIL 8 PM.
