Howard was my accountant for twenty years.  He had such a deadpan sense of humor. I would call him up, and he would yell, "What!" 
What a kind and helpful man! He never judged me, and had such great advice. 
I truly miss him, and I'm grateful to have known him. 

My deepest condolences to the Gottlieb family.  Howard is part of many memories of the Donner family, most recently spending time with him at Lilly’s Bat Mitzvah in Akron.  To Rochelle, Tammy, Julie, Nathan, Richard and their families, our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.  Much love, Aunt JoAnne and Family

I am stunned !  I have known Howard since 1980. He's done my taxes for decades.  A great man ! A sharp businessman, very smart.
Wonderful man. I shall miss him.   Very shocked.  God bless him and his whole family.  My sincerest condolences to Rochelle and all of the rest of his extended family.  He was a good friend. 

Howard was a great guy and I will miss him sitting around my piano on Wednesday nights at Hyde Park Beachwood requesting Sinatra songs ~ God rest his soul ~ 

Wayne and I were shocked and saddened to learn of Howard's passing. He prepared our taxes for about 25 years. He had a wonderful personality and always had a supply of candy.  My condolences to the family. Laurel Mazorow

Howard did my mother’s taxes and helped all of my family- he could give advice and lots of humor - Howard could even make  running to hand in tax returns a fun experience!  :) and very educational too— I would run in with the taxes so that I could collect tons of candy while mother wasn’t looking!  tax advice for me and licorice and milk duds  :) he had such an interesting and fun personality - I’m so sorry for all your family -  

Howard did my taxes for many years.  What a joy to experience his fun and funny personality!  He will be missed, but remembered always.

I have known Howard for many, many years as my always full of humor, easy going accountant and friend.  Never complained .  Always helpful with business advice to help me out during this very slow, business wise, Covid 19, time.  He  made tax time easy and no sweat.  He is missed already...He was always available for advice by phone.  He was so positive and humorous about life.

I met Howard at the JCC, along with Tammy & Rochelle!  We all worked out together, huffed and puffed and laughed a lot!  I remembering going to visit Tammy when the twins were born and also going out for dinner once in a while.  Please accept our deepest sympathy.  Howard will be missed by so many.  RIP

Howard was a classmate at CHHS  January 1964.  Planning a class reunion without Howard is difficult to imagine.  Howard's sense of humor and joy will be missed!  I send my deepest sympathy to Howard's beloved family.
