So sorry to hear about Rabbi Kutner’s passing. I have wonderful memories of dancing with wife (my cousin Nechama) at their wedding. May his neshama be a blessing.

Dear Nadine and Children,

We were so shocked and saddened to hear of Rabbi Kutner’s, Z”L passing.  We have fond memories of sharing happy times with you and family at Beth Israel in Omaha in the 90s.  May you be comforted among all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.  Rabbi Kutner, Z”L was such a kind and gentle mensch whose ministry inspired all those whose lives he touched. May his memory always be for a blessing.

I am Janet Cort's daughter Lisa.  My mom lives at Wiggins Place and she asked me to write something to Rabbi's family, because she doesn't use a computer and has tremors, so it is difficult to write a note.  My mother had so much adoration for Rabbi Kutner.  She felt so close to him.  She shared with me that he was a great listener, a reliable confidante and problem solver.  All of Janet's children live out of state and we all appreciated that my mom had a spiritual leader and emotional support that she could always count on.   She wants Rabbi's family to know she loved him to pieces, and is certain his love and spirit that he spread through the world is certain to live on through his children, wife, family and all those who he touched.
