Ida Ginzburg, age 84, peacefully passed away, leaving behind a large and loving community of family and friends who cherished her for her sweetness and kindness. A helpful soul and walking encyclopedia, Ida was known for her keen sense of direction and always knowing the right way to go—long before GPS became a household aid. She was an early riser, finding joy in the beauty of the morning, its sights and sounds, and for many years, she enjoyed morning swims at nearby pools.
Ida was a devoted mother to Svetlana (Aleksandr) Turovskiy, a beloved grandmother to Luana (Tyler) Mears and Vladimir (Christina) Turovskiy, and a cherished great-grandmother to Sophia Aviva and Maria Rose Turovskiy. She was predeceased by her husband, Marat, and her beloved sister, Manya, whom she cared for her entire life.
