February 18, 1934 – August 8, 2025
Ina Burday passed away peacefully at the age of 91 at King David. She was born in 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Belle and Morris Boxerbaum. A proud graduate of Cleveland Heights High School, Ina was a lifelong member of Park Synagogue. She found great joy in volunteering, baking, gardening, playing Mah-Jongg, and, most of all, in the love of her family — including her beloved dog and many cherished grand-dogs.
Ina was the beloved wife of the late Marshall Burday. She was the devoted mother of Scott (Lane Jordan) and Curt (Darlene) Burday, and the adoring grandmother “Grammy” of Katie Burday. Ina was the dear sister of Susie Stonefield (deceased), Nancy Socoloff (Sheldon - Deceased), and Marvin Magid (Ruth - both deceased). Loving aunt to Marcy (Scott) Nemeth, Peter (Anna) Stonefield, Beth Socoloff, Mindy (Mark) Cannella, Caryn (Leigh) Weinberg, Robin Gordon and Debra Scapillato. She was also a treasured companion of the late Phil Sugerman and a friend to many.
