Throughout his life, Irving was dedicated and accomplished—beginning his career as a computer programmer before becoming a highly successful stockbroker. He was a trusted mentor to his family and friends, inspiring others with his wisdom and kindness.
Irving was also deeply committed to giving back to his community, generously supporting the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Jewish Community Federation, and Family Connections.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; his son, Jonathan (Aryn) Oleinick; his daughter, Molly (James) Stoner; and his grandchildren, Harper and Noa Oleinick, Addison, Kacie, and JJ Stoner. Irving was predeceased by his brothers Milton (Cruciel), Julius (Cynthia), and Arnold (Sandra) whom he stayed in close contact with until their passing.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 4th at 1:00 pm at the Berkowitz Kumin Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 S. Taylor Road, Cleveland Heights. Interment will follow at Mt. Shiva will be observed at Judson Manor, 1890 E. 107th Street, in Cleveland from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday only.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank or the Jewish Community Federation, in honor of Irving’s generous spirit.
