Myself and Gary were both lawyers at Berger&Kirschenbaum many years ago and thereafter operated a lawfirm Henkin, Seewald and Roth.  Gary was a great lawyer and will be missed by many.

I just became aware of your father's passing. My heartfelt condolences. I worked for Gary for many many years. I will always remember the stories he had to tell and his laugh. RIP my friend.

I knew Gary from our days at Berger and Kirschenbaum during the 70’s.  We later formed a firm called Henkin, Seewald & Roth.  That was a long time ago!  Gary was a hard worker and all around good guy and law partner.  RIP partner,  Dan Roth

My condolences to his family.    As a long time neighbor, I can attest to Gary's perfect balance of thoughtfulness and humor.   His love of plants and Key Lime Pie is a nice memory!

My deepest sympathy to your family. Your father, Gary, will always be remembered as a wonderful neighbor — kind, genuine, and endlessly interesting. He had such warmth and curiosity about life, always ready with a story, a smile, or a kind word that made everyone feel at ease.
Gary had a special way of connecting with people (and dogs too). He especially loved my dog, Phoebe — and she adored him right back. Those little moments between them are memories I’ll always treasure.
He will be so deeply missed.

Gary was my fun cousin. He always had a smile on his face, no matter the situation. I loved hearing about his various adventures; he never sat still. He cared deeply about his family and was very proud of his daughters and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have known him. May his memory be a blessing.

I met your father 4 years ago when I moved into Shaker Courts.  He liked to talk to my irascible little dog, Eddie.  He'd greet us with a big smile and  hello and make a fuss over Eddie all while telling me he was really a cat person.  Eddie and I will miss those daily greetings.  Our walks just won't be the same.

Gary and I were first cousins, but we were much  more than that.  He was like a big brother, and we have been close since earliest memories of childhood. Easter vacations were usually spent either in Teaneck or Jamaica together playing  games like monopoly, Boom or Bust, and Risk.  To me, Gary wasn’t cool because of the stuff he did, but rather Gary doing something is what made it cool .  We’d go down to the schoolyard in Jamaica for hoops or stickball.  Over the years, a lot of travel together, including Jamaica, Belize, Arizona, and Canada. Motorcycle trips through Pennsylvania, upstate NY.  Gary was in many ways my hero, always fearless and living life with intensity and joy.  In later years we spoke often, and he was my go to with funny stories, anecdotes, sports, politics, hobbies, and more. I think of him every day and will miss him greatly.
