Born on January 23, 1942, in Lima, Peru Jack immigrated to the United States as a young child with his parents, Joseph and Sylvia Naiman, eventually settling in the Cleveland area. He grew up in a close-knit family alongside his sisters, Arlene and Shoshana, both of whom preceded him in death.
Jack began his college years at The Ohio State University, where he formed many lifelong friendships that he cherished throughout life. He later completed his studies in Ann Arbor, a chapter in life that helped shape both his personal and professional future.
After graduation, Jack married Patricia “Tisha” Naiman, and together they built a family and welcomed two children, Matthew and Carolyn, who were the center of his life. Though Jack and Tisha later divorced, they remained close through the years, united by their love for their children and family.
Jack built a successful career as a real estate developer, a profession that took him across the country and reflected his ambition, vision, and entrepreneurial spirit. Eventually, he made his home in San Diego, where he spent his later years enjoying the life he had worked so hard to create.
Retirement, however, was not in the cards for Jack. At approximately 75 years old, Jack embarked on an entirely new chapter in life. He returned to Cleveland with a determination to restore and revitalize the Naiman family business. Through his persistence, business instincts, and tireless work ethic, he successfully turned the business profitable once again — an accomplishment that brought him great pride and demonstrated that his drive and vision never diminished with age.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jack will be remembered for his determination, curiosity, and his unbridled passion for art and health. He valued deep conversation, lifelong friendships, and the connections he maintained throughout every stage of his life.
He leaves behind his loving children, Matthew and Carolyn, their mother Tisha, many cousins, and two nieces along with many dear friends and extended family members who will miss him deeply.
May his memory be a blessing.
