I remember coming to your house Patti after school.  Your mother was there greeting us with her humor and huge smile.  She loved all of us South Euclid girls and we were always welcomed  into your home with love and great humor ( and snacks)!  Jackie was an abounding POSITIVE force.  May her name be a blessing. You know how saddened I was by Grandma Jackie's passing.  I cherish all of the time we spent with her.  It is never the right time to say your final goodbye to a parent, but know that she is now at rest and in peace.

What an amazing funeral.  Kathy was wonderful, but to hear Jana extol her grandmother  was beyond incredible.  

You were such a fabulous daughter and she loved   being with you and your family.  You were always there for her, and you should find comfort knowing that you were her "go to gal"

I'm so sorry to hear of Jackie's passing.  She made me laugh, could be quite the queen, but always wanted to be self reliant and never a pushover.  I enjoyed her company many times and marveled at her tenacity and humor, no matter what.  I'm sorry for your lost and hope lots of memories keep her close to your heart.  

So sorry for your loss.  My mom,  Polly Shultz, was a long, long time friend of your mom.  I know my mom appreciated her friendship, especially when my mom was at the end of her days at Menorah Park...your mom didn't give up on her, even when she wasn't sure if my mom still recognized her.  Your mom was a very special, lovely lady.  May her memories be a blessing.

Dear Patti , Bruce and family,
    Holly and I were so saddened to hear about mom. Unfortunately my mom, her dear friend doesn't yet know about mom's passing as she may not even now comprehend the news. I have so many fond memories of mom. Her beauty, poise and intelligence all stick with me. Mom and Jackie were such good friends over the years and in the later years even though the frustrations mounted due to age and confinements they still called each other best friends. Back in November 2018 we had a 90th birthday dinner for mom at Brio and we invited Jackie and Goldie with my children and my kids still talk about how funny Jackie and Goldie were that night and how much mom  appreciated having her dear friends there to celebrate with her. 
  Again so sorry for your loss and I will keep in my mind all the fond fond memories!

Sending condolences to your family. Your Mom was a wonderful woman! 

Jackie was one of the first volunteers that I met at Menorah Park fifteen years ago almost to the day.  She and Audrey Kursman volunteered in the snack shop, well they basically ran the snack shop with our manager George.  Jackie and Audrey were just about to turn 80.  
Jackie was very involved with the Women’s and Men’s Association, as a lifetime executive board member and past President.  I attended many Partners in Senior Life conferences with her.  The first one we went to was in Portland Maine and we had a great time, but when we got to the airport our plane was delayed and our connection in New Jersey was due to leave about the time we actually landed, I knew there was another flight an hour later and told Jackie not to worry about the flight we were likely to miss.  Jackie was incessant that we make that earlier flight and told the flight attendant that we needed transport to the gate, which they provided.  Jackie sat up front with the driver and I was in the back facing backwards with other passengers in rows between us, I heard Jackie yelling at other passengers that were in our carts way to move it so we could get to the gate.  We did end up making that original flight due to Jackie’s persistence and that is when I realized she was a force to be dealt with, I never doubted her tenacity again!
Jackie was also a recipient of the Gert Himmel Volunteer of the Year award, which she so richly deserved.  She worked tirelessly for Menorah Park in the snack shop, hospice and gift shop.   She was also a life member of the Menorah Park board.
We will all miss her very much; may her memory be for a blessing and my heartfelt condolences go out to her family and friends.
