To the children of Jackie,  I lived across the street from your family on Groveland and babysat for you for several years. I was also part of writing and participating in several plays with all the kids in the neighborhood to raise money for cancer. I knew Jackie most of my life, first as my JCC swimming teacher, and in later years through ushering at Fairmount Temple. She greeted everyone with a smile and a kind word. We will all miss her!

Great lady who was very giving. She was Bob & Bill Magicians audience and a photo critique.  Also was present at Rock Bottom practices and she was  my dramatics teacher. Many great memories....growing up in University Heights.

Jackie was a fixture at the Women of Fairmount Temple as well as a smiling greeter at Shabbat services on Friday.  She was warm and outgoing and a dedicated preschool teacher and volunteer.  Morah Jackie was my daughter's preschool teacher 47 years ago at Ganon Gil preschool.

     Not just good company, Jackie was an incredible human being. She tried to help friends achieve whatever their goals. If lonely, she tried to help them broaden their social life. 
     Her passing leaves a sad gulf in my life.

Mora Jackie was a guiding light for our two girls, Mara and Elissa, who now share that same love, patience, and zest for life with their own children. Jackie always met me with a smile, whether it be at Temple or at the JCC. She was a true lady and inspiration in every sense. Please accept my love and sympathies-

Although not blood related whatsoever, "Grandma Jackie" was a beloved member of my family.  We will miss her dearly.  Condolences to her entire family and all those other non-family members she touched.  May her memory be a blessing.

Dear Kronenberg Family, All of the Cort cousins have been in close touch over the past few days sharing our memories of Aunt Jackie and of all the special times we had together growing up in Cleveland. Somehow it is fitting that Jackie passed away just before Chanukah.  She was a bright light to all who met her, and with her light dimmed, may we find comfort in the light of the menorah.  Her smile and her love of life will continue to live on in the hearts of the many, many people she touched.

So sad to hear the news. Jackie was my mom's best friend and as we grew up hew house was always a home away from home. She was always so kind, thoughtful and insightful. May her memory be a blessing.

Everyone wanted Mora Jackie for a teacher. Both of my daughters were lucky enough to have been in her classes at Ganon Gil. She truly was a warm and wonderful lady. Our sincere condolences to her family.

Jackie always had a positive outlook and was such a beautiful lady.  She was our cousin on my Grandma's side of the family.  We would see her at nursery school.  My sisters had her for a nursery school teacher over 50 years ago.  We would see her at JCC and Fairmount Temple over the years as well, be it teaching dance or swimming or in the pool or taking a class, or at family dinners at Grandma and Grandpa, Louis and Esther Cort's house.  Mom and Aunt Care spent time with her more recently and she will be missed.  She was always so loving and kind and gracious.  someone I always looked up to.  So sorry for your loss Bob and Richard.  You had a lovely mom and she will be greatly missed.  Condolences to your wives and children too.

I will always remember Jackie as Mora Jackie from Ganon-Gil Nursery School.  Though she was my sister's teacher, I remember seeing her the halls.  I loved seeing her welcome congregants as we entered the doors of Fairmount Temple.  She will be missed.  May your name always be for a blessing, Mora Jackie.
