Jo Goren

Jo was born in Cleveland on October 6, 1948, and pursued her passion for art and illustration, bringing creativity and beauty into the lives of everyone around her. In later years, Jo also developed a love of creative writing, demonstrating a lifetime desire to learn new skills. Her commitment to service and philanthropy also shone through in her work with the Cleveland YWCA, where she served as a board member for several years, supporting the continuing work of an organization determined to provide safety and housing to women.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the YWCA of Greater Cleveland.

A temple service will be held at 12pm on Monday, September 29th at Congregation Mishkan Or, Beachwood. A shiva will follow from 2-4 and 6-8 at the family residence.

Friends who are unable to attend the service may view it at 12 p.m. September 29th by going to mishkanor.org and selecting livestream Chapel.
