NEWMAN JOSEPH NEWMAN, age 91, died September 7, 2013.  World War II Merchant Marine veteran.  Beloved husband for 68 years of Lila (nee Rottman); loving father of Judi (Roy) Schonfeld, Paul (Kathi), Robert (Linda Leviton) and Edward (Martha Bishop); devoted grandfather of Jennifer and Ben Newman, Eli Hawkins (Robin Richmond), Jacob Cohen, and Sam and Ethan Newman; great grandfather of Glenn Hawkins.  Services will be held Tuesday, September 10 at 12:00 PM at BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL 1985 S. TAYLOR RD. CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery (Taylor Road Synagogue section). The family will receive friends following interment in the Myers Apartments Activity Room, 27200 Cedar Rd., Beachwood.  The family will then receive friends at the residence of Judi and Roy Schonfeld, 2084 Miramar Blvd S.
