Judi Landis

Born on April 7, 1959 in Cleveland, Judi was a Beachwood resident and lived in Northeast Ohio her whole life. She graduated from Beachwood High School and earned her Bachelors in education in 1981 from The Ohio State University. She spent her career at Axelband and Brown, The Advertising Group and was an employee of Beachwood City Schools.

Judi enjoyed spending quality time with friends and family, listening to music and singing, playing games or completing puzzles, reading, and was a fan of Cleveland sports teams and the arts. She also liked cooking dishes for her loved ones, and enjoyed having a warm cup of coffee or a crunch cone from Dairy Queen.

To know this extraordinary wife, mother and friend was to love her. Judi met her husband, Robert Landis, in the elevator of Gates Mills Towers 40 years ago, where they discovered that they lived just down the hall from one another.

They were married six months later and began their lives together, celebrating 39 years of marriage. Judi touched every life she met and packed a lot of love and laughter into 66 years.

Judi is predeceased in death by her parents, Leonard and Ruth Ellen Axelband. She is survived by her husband, Robert Landis, and children, Josh (Maya) Landis and Katelyn (Sean Girton) Landis. She is the sister of Marcy Axelband, of blessed memory, Susie Gottesman and Gary Axelband.

Memorial Services will be held Friday March 5th at 11:00 A.M. at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel 1985 South Taylor RD Cleveland Heights , Ohio 44118
