Dr. Julius Joseph Foxman, born on July 24, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 22, 2019, at age 93. A beloved husband, father and grandfather, Julius is survived by his devoted wife Lois and his loving children, son Michael Foxman (wife Valerie) of Atlanta, GA and dearest daughter Jill Staubitz (husband Bob) of Collinsville, CT; adored granddaughters Lauren and Emily of Atlanta, GA, Danielle and Samantha of Collinsville, CT. Julius and Lois were married for over 64 years. Julius was an adoring family man. He dearly loved his late brothers Elliot and David, along with their families. He had a gentle spirit and always had a positive outlook on life. Dr. Foxman practiced Optometry in the Cleveland area for his entire life, and continued to work long after his official retirement with more than 50 years of serving his patients. Julius was proud of being a WWII veteran, serving in the U.S. Air Corp. Services will be held Monday February 25, 2019 at 12:00 PM at the Mayfield Cemetery (within the Mausoleum) 2749 Mayfield Rd. Cleveland Hts., Ohio.
