June Channing Garson, 81, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026. Born on June 29, 1944, June grew up on Cleveland’s west side and later raised her family on the east side. In more recent years she made her home full-time in Palm Beach Gardens, where she was a member of the Palm Beach Synagogue.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gary Garson, in 2002, and by her son, Brandon, in 2006. She is survived by her daughters, Heather Garson and her husband Ricardo Magalhaes, and Raleigh Leahy and her husband Pat Leahy, along with grandchildren Jane and Charley, as well as many other beloved extended family members and friends.
June was known for her wonderful sense of humor and her gift for entertaining those around her. She loved playing golf and bridge, cherished her dog Hershey, and was an avid and adventurous traveler who delighted in taking her family to extraordinary places — planning it all long before the internet made such trips easy. Despite experiencing profound losses, she truly embraced and enjoyed the life she had.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 27855 Aurora Rd., Solon, OH.
Family will receive friends at Weinberg residence, 145 Woodburn Dr., Moreland Hills 44022 IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING SERVICES SUNDAY UNTIL 3:00PM.
