My condolences to all who knew and loved the one and only, Kevin Zemel.  I met Kevin working at OEC Medical.  Whether it was on the phone or seeing him in person at trade shows, workshops, sales meetings, or dinner with colleagues, his distinctive voice, kindness, professionalism and humor always made it a pleasure to speak with, or be in his presence.  He was always a gentleman.  I never think of, or enjoy raw oysters that I don’t think of Kevin; he certainly enjoyed them and could eat many.  It was always a good time, or a good chat with Kevin.  May he rest in peace, and may many fond memories comfort all grieving his passing.

I am so so sorry for this great loss. I’ve known Kevin for 40 some years. He was always GOOD, never a mean word spoken. He was such a beautiful person. To the Family, Please know You will be in My thoughts and prayers. Such a hard thing. May God Bless You and Thank You God for giving Us such a wonderful Person to Love.

Dearest Zemel Family,
The passing of Mr. Z, (as I called him) just broke my heart. What fun times I had when I first met Michelle thru AZA/BBG, and we had many get togethers at the Zemel house! Kevin kind of hung around with us girls,  (but really his ploy was to make a move on my friend Karen), but that’s beside the point! My fondest memory though was at my 16th Birthday party where he proceeded to “sneak” a six pack of beer under his coat, thinking that my mom wouldn’t notice!! There are just so many wonderful memories over the years that I just can’t keep count. I am so grateful  to have kept in contact with him over the years after I moved out of town. I really believe that God needed a Mensch of an Angel, and he choose Kevin. He was just taken way to soon. May you rest in eternal peace Kevin, and keep that great smile on your face.

I met Kevin when he started working for GE OEC. We didn’t get to work together very often but when we did it was always a good and fun time. We seemed to laugh a lot at each other’s antics and our jokes. Kevin had some really funny ones!!   I want to send my condolences to Kevin’s family and friends. Kevin will be sorely missed. 🙏

 Just before moving to Florida, Summer 1978,  after midnight I was feeling  adventurous & I thought I would try the latest trend, streaking. Feeling a little naughty, I left my Fenwick home wearing only my running shoes.  As I passed Kleinstub’s house, Kevin & Sharron were smoking on the front steps.

Kevin and I went back over 50 years. His friendship was genuine and I loved this man as a brother. We hit it off instantly and hung out a lot through our school years. The parties on Meadowbrook were the best. Although we didn’t speak much in the last few years, when we did, it was like we didn’t miss a beat! He was loved by so many and will be sorely missed. I send my deepest condolences to Kevin's family and friends. I've known Kevin for over 50 years and although we haven't spent much time together in our later years, he has enriched my life by providing me with priceless memories of our youth and what true friendship really means.

So very sorry to hear about Kevin. Needless to say there are a group of us who had many adventures and fun times. His kindness was always appreciated. Sincere sympathy to the entire Zemel family. May his memory be a blessing.

The first time I met Kevin was when he let me tag along with Billy on a trip out to the land in PA almost 20 years ago. I had my first taste of Yuengling (back when you couldn’t get it outside of Pennsylvania!), hung around the fire, and just goofed off in the woods for a couple days. Working in forests has become my career and experiences like that are more important to me now than ever before. Not many kids can get a phone-free experience like that anymore and it’s a memory I’ll get to carry with me for the rest of my life. He made a great impact on me and I’ll always be thankful for the time I got to spend with him. Rest in peace, Kev. You were loved by many.

My most sincere sympathy to all of Kevin's loved ones: His mom, wife Andy, Children, Siblings . He was the best. His fight was hard and he was strong but went far too quickly. I'll miss hearing his voice immensely but will hold on to every moment that we shared . Keeping his memory alive in my heart always. Praying  for strength and comfort to all of you  during this difficult time.

Kevin will be missed ., We go way back over 40 years in our Teens we spent countless hours chillin in the Mitchell woods Riding motorcycles playing with motors Etc….The Florida contingency  includes myself Jeff Zucker , Marla (Safier)Adams .,and  Ellen Brodsky …  kevin was very helpful to everyone and the list of friends I’m certain is endless … years later Kevin became extended family  although not living in town I will always keep the early brotherhood in my heart  RIP 🌴🙏❤️

Kevin and I go way way back. I  have known him since I was a kid at 10 yrs old!  Going as far back as when we were little kids at Heights Temple  thru Jr. and High School and many years after. He was a great guy,a good person,a character at times,but that was Kevin. We had some good times and some crazy ones together in our days.
