He was the son of Leonard, Kitty and Alice Whitman (deceased) and will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Susan (nee Frankel), devoted and loving daughters Katie and Nikki, and adored granddaughter Ella Robertson. He was also survived by his siblings, Marcy (Allan, deceased) Curtis, Art (Audee) Whitman, and Stuart (Charles Austin) Whitman, and several nieces and nephews, and life-long friend Jack Silverman.
Larry spent much of his career in the petroleum industry, retiring from Great Lakes Petroleum in March due to his illness.
His greatest joys in life were spending time with "all of his girls", keeping the yard meticulous, enjoying a cigar and an Old Fashioned, and driving around in his '95 Saab convertible singing along to the music with the volume turned up! He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.
