Lee Ann Holstein, 98, of Beachwood, Ohio, passed away on March 29, 2024. She was born on January 11, 1926, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Nathan and Dora Staman (nee Weltman). Lee Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, daughter Barbie, and sister Jessie (Allen) Bondy.
Lee Ann is survived by her loving children Larry (Alla), Roger (Roberta), and Eileen (Marc) Mellman. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Rachael (Joe) Chek, Nathan (Sheerin), Michael, David (Katie), Lauren (Tim), Amanda (Jake), Will (Julie), Jodi, and Stephanie, as well as her great-grandchildren Rowan, Julian, Ryan, Jamie, Hudson, and Bowie. Lee also leaves behind her nieces Sheila (Larry) Friedlander and Marilyn (Roger) Friedman.
Lee Ann Holstein was a dedicated individual who achieved a Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Therapy from Flora Stone Mather College of Western Reserve University and a Master's degree in Education from Western Reserve.
In her free time, Lee Ann enjoyed the attending the Cleveland Orchestra, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and playing Scrabble. She was also actively involved in B'nai Brith Women Dolls for Democracy and the Ema Players.
A service to honor and celebrate Lee Ann's life will be held at Berkowitz-Kumin Memporial Chapel, 1985 S Taylor Rd, Cleveland Heights, Ohio at 12:00 PM on Monday April 1.
Shiva will be held Monday from 3 until 8 PM at the home of Larry Holstein, 80 W Juniper Ln, Moreland Hills, OH 44022.
Lee Ann Holstein will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and love for her family. May she rest in peace.
