

Lee received his B.A. from Case Western Reserve University followed by The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and Northwestern University Graduate program in Pediatric Dentistry. He also received a Master of Science from Northwestern University. After completing his education, he spent 26 months of active duty in the U.S. Navy.
Lee practiced Pediatric Dentistry for over 50 years and was most proud of the work he did with handicapped children and those born with clef lips and palate.
Lee was the beloved husband of Marla (nee Stiel). They met at Cleveland Heights High School and enjoyed dancing together for the past 60 years. Raising a family was everything to Lee. Often closing his office early to attend his children's baseball, basketball, and field hockey games. He loved teaching about Judaism and instilled a love for it around the Shabbat table. Now, referred to Sabbah by 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Lee is survived by his wife, Marla, his children Michael (Rorie), Kim (Bryan), and his grandchildren Shoshana Greenberg (Mendy), Tehila Goldbaum (Ariel), Shalom Weisberg (Nachama), Jacob Farkas (Rikki), Eliana Farkas, Yehuda Weisberg, and Adina Weisberg, and beloved great-children Eden, Ella, and Nesanel.
He was pre-deceased by his parents and brother Murray. Lee is also survived by his brother-in-law Bruce Ison (Audee), Bill Apton (Holly), and his younger siblings Shelly Weisberg (Dawn), Wendy Weisberg (Andy), Ann Berkowitz (Jay), and Amy Whitehead (Brad).
Services will be held at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 1:30 PM. Shivah will be observed following interment until 9 PM, Tuesday, March 10th though Sunday, March 15th, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the home of Kim & Bryan Farkas, 14411 E. Carroll Boulevard, University Heights, OH 44118.

Lee leaves us with a gift of Values and Traditions. He knew how to prevent differences of opinion from ruining relationships. He leaves behind many lifetime friends.
