
Leo O. Perry, 97, passed away January 14, 2012. Devoted husband of the late Mae (nee Margolis) for 70 years; Beloved father of Ruth (Harvey) Nevins, Judy Kurimai of Columbus and Jay (Susan) of Charlottesville, Virginia; loving grandfather of Vicki Cooper, Dr. Randi Stanulis (Thomas) and Max Perry; devoted Papa to Kimberley (Adam) Ramsey, Pamela & Thomas Cooper and Scot & Alex Stanulis; proud great-great grandfather of Alyssa Mae. Leo was a poet & songwriter, fluent in French and master of the English language. He was a supporter of liberal causes and always fought for the underdog. Sometimes cantankerous, he had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a 30 year veteran of the U.S. Postal Service and a gallon donor to the American Red Cross. Graveside services will be held at Workmen’s Circle Cemetery, W. 54th & Theota Ave., Parma, on Tuesday, January 17th at Noon. Family will receive friends at the home of Ruth and Harvey Nevins, 38066 Cross Creek Drive, Willoughby, Tuesday 3-5 and 7-9PM. Contributions are suggested to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th Street, Euclid .
