I want to thank everyone for their kindness and sympathy to our family, in honor of my mom Lili Markowitz.  Can't believe she is gone.  I am waiting for her to get back from Florida, but I know that will never happen.  The hardest time will be the first Jewish Holiday when we all gather and we will be looking for the apple kugle, cocosh and macosh.

Its been 2 months now,and I still miss her,and I still look for her at 10:00am every morning,to walk through the door at Jacks

To Alvie and all the Markowitz family.  I was very saddened to read of Mom's death in the electronic issue of the Plain Dealer this morning.  It was always a pleasure to see her smiling face and get a big hug from her when we came to the deli. She was always happy talking to me about my grandfather, "Uncle Louie". Hopefully the special times you had together will ease the pain of the coming days.
I am so sorry that I will not be able to return to Cleveland to attend the memorial service today.

Markowitz Family,
I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss. I'll always remember Lili "Bubbie" Markowitz as beacon of sunshine at every event. From graduation parties to backyard BBQ's, no occasion could begin unless Bubbie had arrived. She'll be missed immensely by all those who knew her.
