Lillian Friedman (nee Steinberg) beloved wife of the late William. Loving mother of Phyllis (Dr. Joel) Gecht and Dr. Steven (Sandy) Friedman. Cherished grandmother of David (Liz) Gecht, Alan (Julia Leb) Gecht, Mitchell (Anna) Gecht, Matthew (Allie) Gecht, Michele Friedman and Joshua (Naomi Klein) Friedman. Great grandmother of Brooklyn, Maxwell, Jonah, Samuel, Danielle, Jacob and Isabel. Devoted sister of Harry Steinberg and Millie Brofman (both deceased). Services Tuesday June 20 at 11:30 a.m. at the Gutterman’s Funeral Home, Rockville Centre, N.Y. Family will receive friends at the residence of Dr. and Mrs. Joel Gecht 4033 Oxford Ct., Orange Village, Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Contributions are suggested to Congregation B’nai Jeshurun.
