Lloyd Robert Marks

Lloyd Robert Marks ("Bob") passed away suddenly on November 25, 2025, at the age of 85. He lived every day to the fullest, always having a project to do or someone to call and check in on. While many describe Bob as gourmet chef, an avid and knowledgeable fisherman, a world traveler, and an owner of two loving giant-breed dogs, he wanted to be remembered as an adoring, devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He valued family and friends above all else.

He worked outside every day, tending his garden, fruit trees, and koi pond. Bob was an accomplished businessman, both in the corporate world and as an entrepreneur for his family-owned business Office Emporium.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Helen, having met in their late teens; children Wendy (David) Marks Firestone, Elisse (Dr. David) Gabriel, Dr. Melissa Marks (Dr. Eric Rickin), and Joshua (Rebecca) Marks, Esq. He is the grandfather of Gabriel (Wesley) Firestone, Dr. Jonah (Lana) Firestone, Hannah Firestone, Esq., Noah Gabriel, Aidan Gabriel, Abigail Rickin-Marks, Benjamin Rickin-Marks, Zachary Marks, and Madeline Marks, sister, Helen (Dennis – deceased) Karlan, and sister-in-law, Carole (Stanley – deceased) Marks.

Funeral services will be at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel at 10:00 am on Friday, November 28th with internment following at Mount Olive Cemetery. To view this service, please scroll down to the Services section and click on "JOIN LIVESTREAM".

Shiva will be held at the home of Wendy and David Firestone (21121 Farnsleigh Road, Beachwood, Ohio) on Friday from 2pm-4pm; Saturday, from 7pm-9pm; Sunday from 1pm-4pm; Monday from 1pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm; Tuesday from 1pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm; Wednesday from 1pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm; and Thursday from 1pm-4pm.

Donations in Bob's memory may be made to any organization that supports Israel, American Parks, or an animal rescue organization of your choice.
