Lois Shepard

Lois graduated from Glenville High School and attended Fenn Business College. She worked for the Navy Department, Mt. Sinai Hospital and the Bernard R. Shepard Agency.

On July 26, 1953, Lois married Berny Shepard, the love of her life and for over 50 years they celebrated their lives together. After the passing of her husband, Lois became a Licensed Insurance Agent and President of The Bernard R. Shepard Agency. She wrote and serviced existing agency clients.

Lois and Berny traveled the world together. They were avid boaters, spending time with each other and friends. Lois enjoyed playing cards and mahjong with her friends almost every day.

Lois was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Lois and Berny had 2 sons, Neil (Starr) and Michael (Janet) who had passed away on April 26, 2001. Sean, Morgan, Ryan and Shaefer are her beloved, adored and precious grandchildren. Lois had a special love for all her nieces and nephews especially the Greenberg clan; Dr. Leslie & Betty Greenberg, Joel & Jan Greenberg, Stanley and Marie Greenberg and Mrs. Sandy Friedman. To Nancy Agin, my dear friend and her family, all my Love.

Services will be held at BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL 1985 S.TAYLOR RD., CLEVELAND HTS., Wednesday, July 24 at 11:00AM.

Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery.

The family will receive all at Landerhaven Executive Caterers after the Interment until 9pm and THURSDAY & FRIDAY at the residence 120 Fox Hollow Dr. Suite 406 - Mayfield Hts., 12-4 & 6-9.
