I just became aware of Marcella's passing and it makes me sad.  I worked for her at Hawken and she was a warm, effervescent woman.  I  enjoyed knowing her and will remember her with admiration.




More than just my French teacher--an inspiration for my life. I cannot believe I will never see you again.

Marcella was my beloved and prefered cousin between many cousins. The distance that separated us between the States and Europe did not touch our wonderful relation for so many years. I will never forget her switness, her smile and her attachment in the family ties. Sweet cousin, I will miss you very much but I will have Roger to share with him our memories.

Marcella was a wonderful neighbor and dear friend. She will be missed.

Marcella was a wonderful mentor and supervisor.  She taught me that learning is an everyday event.  Working with her was a pleasure.  Thank you Roger for giving me the time in Annapolis with your precious wife and partner.

Such sad news.  Marcella was a superb educator and person. Roger and family in my prayers.

Marcella was a colleague, a great educator and a dear friend. At Hawken School she was admired, respected and loved by all whose lives she touched. I will always remember her smile, energy, sense of humor and her profound commitment to education. She was a model teacher, colleague and friend. A wonderful person!

I am deeply saddened to hear of Marcella's passing.  She will be missed by everyone who knew her.  My thoughts and prayers are with Roger.  As the Greeks say - memory eternal.
