He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Rosalyn; his loving daughter Tatyana Kofman and her husband Gary Ark; his loving grandchildren, Andrew and El; his brother, Samuil Kofman; many loving nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Mark spent much of his retirement traveling the world with his wife Rosalyn, including China, Japan, Spain, and others. His favorite destination of all was Australia, because of the life in the cities and the kindness and generosity of the people there. With his own kind and generous nature, he surely fit right in.
He also loved taking road trips with his grandchildren. They went to Niagara Falls, petting zoo’s, and twice to the Hershey’s Chocolate factory.
He loved to play pickleball at the local JCC, or as he would say, he had a “pickleball addiction,” and in the evenings he enjoyed reading and watching sports. He made friends easily, and was always willing to do a favor for anyone who asked. He could bring a smile to your face no matter what mood you were in.
Mark loved to host family parties with his wife at their home in Mayfield Heights. He was a wonderful listener and could make anyone laugh with his gentle and kind sense of humor.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 25th, 2025 at 4PM at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel.
