I just heard about this and I am so sorry to hear this. Lana, my heart goes out to you and the family. He was my brother with Ricky, and Gary. LIEBS,It's a good thing you read that book I got when we were in Florida. R.I.P and I'll see you one day.

Dear Lana and Family,
We send our deepest sympathy to you all.  I knew Mark since we were 6 years old in my elementary classes at Hilltop. He was always a sweet and fun guy. Kenny remembers playing football with him at Hedges field Fairmount temple.  He ran Bruce Kretch over when Bruce tried to tackle him.  We had a lot of good times at Gatesmills towers. Mark was a terrific person.

Mark was a very good friend and person.......God rest his soul. The family will be in my prayers.

Also, growing up in Beachwood, and only two streets north of Liebs, our common bond was that both of our fathers were in the dry cleaning business. We kept in touch over the years, especially when I worked with the cavs and remember Avon doing lots of work for both some of our players and for the events coming in town at both the Coliseum and "Gund" Arena. I am a former employee of Avon Cleaners. In fact it was my first job. My grandmother was the bookkepper there for many years. I am saddened to hear of Mark's passing. Please know that God can provide you with the strength and peace to endure this difficult time (Philippians 4:6, 7).

I never had the pleasure to meet Mark, but I know Lana and Amanda and they are such good people.  I got to know what a wonderful man he was thru their eyes.  Mark was a fun loving funny man that lived life to the fullest. May you remeber all the good times.Your family excelled at Helping him recover, and being with him at the end. This is Gary Weiss from Greenlawn in Beachwood. I grew up down the street from mark and remember him as a fun loving person, full of life and spirit. I recall playing football with mark in my backyard with a large gang of close friends. In later years Mark was always kind to me.  My wishes are with the family.

I knew Mark for over 50 years. We were neighbors on two different streets growing up in Beachwood. I always enjoyed his sense of humor and friendship. What a great guy. I am sorry for your family's loss.

Our family lived across from the Lieberman's on Maidstone.It wasn't uncommon to see Indians ball players visiting him. He was a wonderful and humorous force of nature.Nobody could get out of a concert or sporting event like him.The last time I saw him he mentioned how much he loved his family. That was Liebs!!! I am sorry he left us so young.
