Marvin Boyd

MARVIN E. BOYD, age 88, died August 8, 2015. WWII Navy veteran. Marvin, a native Texan, came to Cleveland to marry Sondra in 1972. Marvin sold furniture at the Cedar-Center May Co, then at Kronheims in Mentor for many years. He loved Golf and played most actively at Pine Ridge C.C. until illness overtook him about a year ago. He is survived by his wife Sondra Boyd (nee Spitalny); his children Mary Lee (Gary) Daniel and Melissa (Craig) Alexander and Michael (Debbie) Newman; his grandchildren Chelsea, Rick and Natalie; many other relatives scattered over the U.S. Services will be held at BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1985 S. TAYLOR RD., CLEVELAND HTS. on Tuesday, August 11 at 11 AM. The family will receive friends WEDNESDAY FROM 3 TO 8 PM at the Boyd residence, 1000 SOM Ctr. Rd, Mayfield Village.
