Marvin Helf

Age 92. Beloved husband of the late Joni (nee Levinson); devoted father of Gary Helf, Judy Fishman (Les), Nancy Feiner (Stuart) and Ronald Helf (deceased); cherished grandfather of Betsy Mateu (Raul), James Helf (Stephanie), Laura Helf (deceased), Robert Fishman, Nicky Fishman (Jennifer), Joel Fishman (Valerie), Abbey Fishman, Adam Feiner (Tara), Michael Feiner (Jaymie) and Jill Kaplan (Mark); loving great grandfather of 13; dear brother of Mildred Zalben; Shirley Perlmuter Braff, mother of his children was at his bedside. He was a residential builder, building over 3500 single family and high rise multifamily buildings in northeastern Ohio and south Florida. Marvin was past President of the Cleveland Chapter of the National Home Builders Association. He was an active sports enthusiast, including tennis, baseball and basketball (into his 70’s). He also enjoyed singing and Ballroom Dancing. Services will be held at BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL 1985 S. TAYLOR RD., CLEVELAND HTS., Tuesday, October 4 at 11:00AM. Entombment Mayfield Mausoleum. Family will receive friends at the residence of Judy & Les Fishman 29599 Bryce Rd., Pepper Pike IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING ENTOMBMENT TUESDAY UNTIL 5PM & 6:30-8:30PM and WEDNESDAY 2-5 & 6:30-8:30PM.
