I was fortunate to Meet Dr. Marvin Miller or Marvin as he humbly  introduced himself to me. Sometimes, when it comes to an exceptional human being, you, ,or at least I can , immediately feel the presence of a Mensch. Dr. Miller was considerate, caring and unjudgemental. The world and humanity needs more people like this. Dr. Miller's selfless contributions  to society are an extrodianry  example  to those that follow. I have been touched, influenced and motivated by his positive energy,;as I am certain so many have! Love to the Brodsky 's and extended family.

I am so sorry to learn about Dr. Miller’s passing. I lived around the corner and was good friends with Becky. The Miller home was always open to me and I practiced piano at their house before my parents purchased one for me. I will always remember Dr. Miller as a kind and generous person who always welcomed me. Renata…I’m so sorry that we have reconnected over sad times. Sending love to everyone. Growing up, Marvin was one of the few people in the "older" generation who I thought interesting. His daughter Becky was my best friend, and I he understood in a way many people of that generation seemed not to, how to relate to us pre-teen and teenagers. For example--i got drunk for the first time courtesy of his Purple Passions." (Renate was not amused when she found out). He taught me how to drive a stick. His dry ice tricks at sleepover parties were huge crowd-pleasers. I will miss him terribly.


I have known Marvin and Renate over 20 years. I am saddened to hear of his passing. He was smart, ambitious, caring. He was one of the few people who visited my parents in their nursing home.
