Marvin lit up a room with his charm and personality. I really enjoyed spending time with him. I will miss our great conversations at our special happy hours.  He will be greatly missed. He will be in my heart forever.

I have known this man since the 1960's when he lived on Tullamore. He used to be in his front yard a lot and I'd stop and chat with him for awhile. Then, in a twist of fate, he became one of my colleagues  in the Collection Department of Barron's Coin Op Washers and Dryers. FRom 1978 thru the mid 1990's we shared many hours together travelling around Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New York and West Virginia and Kentucky. We ate in nice restaurants and had many cool times together. When we used to go Buffalo, we always stayed in a motel by a  bowling establishment.and we always took our Balls and shoes and bowled a couple of games. This went on till his retirement in the 90's. We kept in touch after that, then fate struck again and he asked me to join his Bowling team at Roseland Lanes in Bedford, Ohio. We even shared our Locker. We bowled many years together. I have nothing but great, great memories with this man. I am so very saddened by his passing. We just had breakfast together at Bob Evans in Cedar Center. I was actually planning on calling him today to see if he wanted to meet me again for breakfast on Thursday, Oct. 23rd, his 86th birthday. My birthday is Friday, Oct. 24th. We never missed wishing each other Happy Birthday For almost 40 years. Marvin was like an older brother to me and a great, great friend. I will miss him deeply, especially every Oct.23 from here on out. I am sure I do not have to tell his wonderful kids what a great Daddy  he was. In our many years of traveling together never once did a day pass where he told me how lucky he was to have beautiful kids that he brought into this world.
     Rest in Peace in your place my good friend, and from now on whenever I hear thunder during a thunderstorm I will know it is you Bowling up in Heaven and throwing a Strike!
