Melvin S. Wolk

Melvin was a loving husband, partner, father, and grandfather. He died peacefully - almost to the day of his baby brother. He was a caring individual who spent his career as an engineer and general contractor. Throughout his adulthood, he was involved in numerous brotherhood lodges and organizations. Until most recently, his joys were dancing with the women in his life and just getting in the car and exploring, getting off the expressways and wandering the backroads and off the beaten path places. He was a helper, regularly lending a hand on projects or repairs for people in his life. He lived a long full life. He is now with Dorothy, Lanny, his brother Alan and his sister Renee. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Dorothy Wolk (nee Yankelson - deceased) and the late Arlene Wolk (nee Rogoff); father of Bonnie Brofman of Willoughby, OH, Terry (Jean) Wolk of Geneva-on-the-Lake, OH and Lanny Wolk (deceased); loving grandfather of Dawn (Stephen) Kaczynski, Brittany (Mitch) Buchanan, Lauren Wolk and Sara (Schofield) Smith; great-grandfather of Alexandra and Landon Kaczinski; dear brother of Alan Wolk and sister Renee Richman (both deceased).

Graveside funeral services for Melvin will be held at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 27855 Aurora Rd., Solon, OH 44139 on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
