Mervin "Merv" C. Mendelsohn

Rabbi Mervin "Merv" Mendelsohn, age 75, of University Heights, Ohio passed away on July 29, 2020. Mervin was born August 27, 1944 in Cleveland.

Beloved husband of Caren Mendelsohn (nee Robinson); devoted father of Jessica (Robert) Sullivan of Binghamton, NY, Ian Mendelsohn, Chava (Alon) Makalsky and Shaina (Alon) Chanukov of San Francisco, CA; loving grandfather of ten; dear brother of Nadine Ziskind of AL, Michelle Mendelsohn, Tamara Zisla, Ronnie Mendelsohn (deceased) and the late Geraldine Mendelsohn.

Funeral services were held at 4 PM on Thursday, July 30.

Burial in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Solon, OH.

The family will observe shiva at the residence of Chava and Alon Makalsky, 2620 Rubyvale Rd., University Hts. Please observe social distancing when you visit with the family.

Donations in memory of Mervin may be made to the American Cancer Society of the American Heart Association.
