Michelle Abra Stone

Michelle Stone, age 57, left us too soon. She was the perfect daughter in her mother's eyes—an easy, loving, kind, affectionate, and humorous soul. Michelle carried a deep respect for everyone she met, especially the elderly, and was a cherished friend to many.

From a young age, Michelle’s passion for medicine was evident. She dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurse at University Hospitals, serving in the Cardiology department for 20 years and most recently working in the Gastroenterology department. She was also a dedicated fan of Mickey Mouse, loved visiting Disney parks, and found joy in hot air ballooning in our area and across the western United States.

Michelle will be dearly missed by her mother, Susan Stone; her brother, Jason Stone; her aunt and uncle, Jackie and Richard Brooks; and her cousins, Aaron Brooks and Hallie (Eric) Brooks and their children Jordan and Alanna.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside on Wednesday, February 25th at 1:00 pm at Bet Olam Cemetery, 25796 Chagrin Boulevard in Beachwood. A shiva will follow at the Stone residence from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00pm until 9:00pm and on Thursday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00pm until 9:00pm.

Donations in Michelle’s memory may be made to the Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute at University Hospitals or the American Diabetes Association.
