

Milton H. Weinstein, a beloved member of the Beachwood, Ohio community, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025, at the remarkable age of 100. Born in Cleveland to Pearl and Harry Weinstein, Milton was a devoted son and a cherished older brother to Elaine (Dr. Herbert) Discont (deceased) and Jerry (Annette) Weinstein (deceased).
Milton's life was marked by love and dedication, particularly to his family. He was the cherished husband of Doris (deceased) and a proud father to Anita Malkin, Larry (deceased), Paul (deceased), and Karyn. He is also survived by his loving daughter-in-law Robin and Meg, who brought joy to his life. Milton's legacy continues through his adoring grandchildren, Joshua, Neil, Brock, Zachary (Robert), Annie, and his great-grandchildren, Shay, Soren, Reese, and Greyson, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
For 52 years, Milton owned and operated Seaway Sewing Center, where he sold and repaired sewing machines. His motto, “wishing won’t make it sew,” reflected his practical wisdom and unwavering work ethic. Milton was not only a skilled businessman but also a man of great character, known for his sense of humor and his deep love for family and friends.
A longtime member of Oheb Zedek Cedar Sinai Synagogue, Milton's faith and community were integral parts of his life. He will be remembered as a true gentleman, whose kindness and laughter touched the lives of many.
A graveside service to honor Milton's life will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Mt. Olive Cemetery, located at 27855 Aurora Rd., Solon, Ohio 44139. Following the service, Shiva will be observed at the family residence, 14 Saratoga Court, Beachwood, Ohio, with visiting hours on Sunday from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and on Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that charitable contributions be made in memory of Milton to Oheb Zedek Cedar Sinai Synagogue, 23749 Cedar Road, Lyndhurst, Ohio 44122.
